What it does

It does

  • Measures distance from 5 to 800 m (5–875 yd), to within about 1 m
  • Gives a slope-adjusted distance in golf mode
  • Measures height, and angles from −89° to +89°
  • Reads in 0.3 to 1.5 seconds
  • Handles splashes and light rain (IPX4)
  • Runs on one CR2 battery you can replace yourself

It doesn't

  • Read a flagstick at 800 m. That figure is for a large, reflective target
  • Suit most competitions with golf mode on. Use plain distance there
  • Measure reliably through glass, heavy rain or fog
  • Recharge. It uses a CR2 cell, not a built-in battery

01What you'll see

The real distance to the flag, not a guess from the sprinkler head

Line the flag up in the 6× view and press. Golf mode gives you the distance adjusted for the slope, so an uphill shot reads longer and a downhill one shorter, and you pull the club that gets there. For competition, switch to plain distance.

How far does it really read?

800 m is the rated range on a large, reflective target such as a building. Trees and hillsides read shorter, and a flagstick, which is thin, much shorter. Hold steady and line the flag up against a dark background.

Can I use it in a competition?

Most competitions allow distance-measuring devices under a local rule, but not slope readings. Use plain distance mode there, and check the rules on the scorecard.

Is the battery rechargeable?

No. It takes one CR2 3 V lithium cell, sold at most supermarkets and hardware stores. It swaps in seconds.

When will it arrive?

Orders ship within 1–3 business days with tracking. Delivery takes 5–12 business days in the US and 7–15 business days in Australia and New Zealand.

What if it isn't for me, or it stops working?

Returns are free for 30 days, and your refund goes out within 7 business days of the return reaching us. If it stops working within 12 months, we replace it.
