It does

  • Dims and brightens with a dial, the level shown on a small display
  • Goes from warm 2700 K to cool 6900 K light
  • Hangs from a lanyard with a clip, or sits on a tripod
  • Charges over USB-C from a wall plug or a power bank
  • Fits in a pocket: 85 × 55 × 35 mm

It doesn't

  • Throw a beam down a trail. It's a wide flood light, not a spotlight
  • Carry a waterproof rating. Keep it out of heavy rain
  • Run all night on full power. The top settings are for short bursts

01What you'll see

A warm glow for the tent, full power for the search

Hang it from the tent loop, turn the dial down to a warm glow and read without blinding whoever is next to you. When the keys go missing, turn it up and the whole pitch is lit.

02In use

85 × 55 × 35 mm: it lives on a pack strap until it's needed

It rides on a backpack strap or in a pocket and weighs little enough to forget. The light runs from candle-warm 2700 K to daylight-white 6900 K, and it charges from the same USB-C cable as your phone.
